Adult Education
Adult Education at Temple Beth-El is thriving and very stimulating. We have an established Academy of Jewish Learning, Rabbi Citrin’s “Journeys” classes, Adult Torah classes, Adult Talmud Study, the Wednesday morning Breakfast Study Group, weekly Contemplative Practices and the Library’s Jewish Book Club.
Our Academy of Jewish Learning is under the tutelage of the Adult Education Committee and provides four, six week long semesters of classes per year. A sampling of our classes would include courses in the following areas: Hebrew, Spirituality, Cooking & Baking, Sewing, History, Music, Literature and Humor.
Temple Beth-El was the winner of the 2005-2007 Union for Reform Judaism Congregation of Learners Award and facilitates workshops and lectures throughout the year.
