Mensch Club

The purpose of the Mensch Club organization is to foster and further the highest ideals of Judaism among our members; to be a vehicle for Jewish religious, social, and educational activities and to work for the general welfare of the Congregation of Temple Beth-El. We are focused on helping to cultivate a better Jewish life in Las Cruces. We believe it is vital to encourage our Jewish identity and the identity of other Jews in the community of Las Cruces. Our association with one another through fellowship, contributions to the temple, and to the larger community, will be accomplished in the spirit of fun, enjoyment, and friendship to enhance our solidarity.

I would like to invite each man associated with Temple Beth-El or the greater Jewish community to join us in our activities and perhaps become an active member in Temple Beth-El’s Mensch Club. We have exciting plans for the future of the Temple Beth-El Mensch Club. Speakers are planned at each club meeting (usually first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM). Presentations cover topics related to Las Cruces and the Greater Community. The ”Discovering Judaism Through Film” program is continuing with movies the third Tuesday of the month. We will be assisting other groups with various activities and fund raisers.
