Beth-El Middle Youth (BEMY) is our youth group for middle school youth (grades 6-8). We have just re-launched this group in the fall of 2008, and will be planning events for the members throughout the year. During the fall, we had a visit to the corn maize, and a movie/popcorn night. Our BEMY kids also participated in the Hanukkah ”Pajamakkah” overnight at the temple. Contact Stefani Singer at the temple for more details.

Beth-El Temple Youth (BETY) is a peer-led youth organization comprised of high school students. The students plan activities and fundraisers throughout the year. In the past, BETY has planned a Havdallah service at White Sands during the full moon, Chanukah parties, and social action projects such as High Holy Days food drive and exploring ways to protect the environment. They have coordinated Purim Carnivals for the younger children. Membership in BETY also qualifies teen-agers to participate in NFTY events and weekends including NFTY sponsored programs in Israel.
